About the Restaurant
Halfway up the valley from the surfing beach at Trebarwith Strand you will find The Mill House nestling in an attractive woodland setting.
The atmosphere in the bar is family friendly and informal with a rustic slate floor, wooden tables, chapel chairs and a wood burning stove. The newly completed restaurant at the rear of the building is positioned alongside the mill stream and there are views of the waterwheel. The restaurant which features fine dining is ideal for romantic dinners as well as functions and wedding receptions. There is also a private dining area which is suitable for parties for up to 30 as well as conferences.
Menus concentrate upon utilising quality local meat, fish and produce with creative vegetarian options. The Mill House is fully licensed for wedding ceremonies and has 8 elegantly furnished bedrooms.

- Tian of Port Isaac crab and smoked salmon with a chive and lemon mayonnaise dressing
- Cornish camembert and red onion marmalade tartlet
- Duo of home smoked duck breast, confit rillette of leg and balsamic raspberry sorbet
- Anti pasta of Delabole cured meats with capers and sun dried tomatoes
Dinner sample main courses:
- Pan seared fillet of local halibut on smoked slamon dauphinoise with a basil romesko
- Roasted monkfish tail on a chorizo, new potato and snow pea fricassee
- Wild mushroom and rocket pappadelle pasta bound in a white wine cream sauce
- Duo of St Kew lamb, saag aloo potatoes and masala dressing
Dinner sample desserts:
- Coffee and Tia Maria creme brulee
- Baileys chocolate cheesecake served with a brown toast ice-cream
- Kirsch cured cherry and almond tartlet
- Blackcurrant pannacotta and Guinness ice-cream
