About the Restaurant
Named in The Telegraph (August 09) as one of the Top 50 Summer Restaurants in Britain, and perfectly positioned on the harbour head of the idyllic fishing village of Porthleven, Kota has become an absolute must on the Cornish food trail.
Kota is Maori for shellfish (Jude is half Maori, 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Malaysian) and is reowned for its stunning seafood with Jude's signature light Asian twist. Jude and Jane are also passionate about wine and have created an exciting list of more than 60 wines form Cornwall to New Zealand.
Kota has the added bonus of two en-suite double rooms, one being a family room with wonderful harbour views - perfect for those wanting an indulgent evening of fine food and wine without driving, or for those living too far away.
