If you like eating in an unstuffy, chic restaurant, with magnificent views over the Penzance skyline to the busy harbour and waterfront, then the Bay Restaurant is for you. Interesting seasonal, light dishes with a fixed price excellent value lunch and dinner menu starting at £11.50 right up to the tasting menu at £49.50 per head.

  • Honeyed confit of fig with preserved lemon & grilled Cornish, smoked Tesyn cheese with a walnut crust
  • Pressed ham hock terrine with duck rilettes with an oat and black peppercorn biscuit
  • Pan fried south coast scallops with butternut squash ravioli with a hazelnut and shallot dressing
  • Local white crabmeat tossed in Roddas creme fraiche couscous & dill with a courgette and lemon sauce

Mains:

  • Roast chump of lamb, beetroot & quince paste, roasted red raddish, red wine jus
  • Grilled fillets of grey and red mullet, sea spinach, white crabmeat and lovage oil with pomegranate
  • Mediterranean vegetables with black olive tapenade, wild cabbage and chick peas.
  • Whole grilled local lobster & fruits de mer
  • Roast Cornish double beef fillet to share with pan fried duck liver parfait coated in breadcrumbs, calvados flambed wild mushrooms and a smoked garlic jus
